The good: Alex slept through the night!!!! He stayed up kind of late, but he slept from 9:30 pm - 730 am!
The bad: I did not reap any benefits from his STTN. Why? Because Meredith is sick and was up from 1-4 am. She had a fever, a stomach ache, a bad cough, and a general unwillingness to go to sleep or be cared for by anyone other than Mama.
The ugly: Mike woke me up at 7:30 when Alex got up. I told him how long I was up with Meredith during the night and that I was really tired. His response: Yeah, I'm exhausted too.
No dude, you got a sold 8 hours of straight sleep. Yes, I'm home with the kids, which in theory means that I might get a nap today, but that will only happen if both kids go to sleep at the same time. The only time that generally happens is if I'm driving them around in the car like I did yesterday after Meredith's doctor's appointment. Obviously driving = no sleep for mama. DH is so not getting any action this weekend.

Re: The good, the bad, and the ugly
Ugh. Sending lots of hugs, and some nap dust. And some restrain from strangling DH dust.

Like pp said, men are so wimpy sometimes! I used to hate it when DH complained about being exhausted when the boys were tiny and he was working. He'd get up maybe 1/4 as much as I did. Dude. You have no idea what real exhaustion means. Ugh.
I hope M feels better and A keeps STTN.
Seriously, if my husband replies with, "Well I'm tired, too" one more time .... he has STTN since Olivia was 2 weeks old. I could punch him in the face.
I'm so sorry Meredith is sick
I hope she's better soon and the whole house is sleeping through the night!!
