I found a really pretty white sleigh crib on craigslist. But before I email the seller. I thought I would ask to see if there are any certain criteria I should be looking for as far as safety and child are concerned. Thanks!
I bought our crib off Craigslist, and on top of asking the condition of the crib, I asked what brand and style it was, that way I could research it. Ended up getting a really good deal, and the woman I bought it from showed it to me set up (she had 2, I of which was still set up for her 1 year old), and showed me the basics of how to put it together, on top of giving me the instructions.
I hope your find works out for you! I am in love with craigslist right now.
You'll want to know the make and model, and year to search for recalls and outdates. The slats should be narrower than a can of soup. You also want to make sure it's not a drop side obviously, and how many times it has been taken apart and put together.
