I had my 26 growth scan yesterday and found out the estimated weights:
Baby A: 2lbs 4 oz and 76th percentile
Baby B: 2lbs 3 oz and 66th percentile
My first thought is great, they are big, measuring above average. But then I was thinking, are those percentiles based off twin averages or is it the singleton average?
In other good news, my cervix is holding strong at 3.7.
Re: Question on baby weights and 'percentiles'
I've wondered the same thing. Mine were measuring 15oz just shy of 21 weeks which came out to be like the 80th percentile. I think my OB is basing it on singleton weights. Either way, the accuracy of the measurements is so inaccurate, that it probalby doesn't matter either way.
YAY on the cervix!!
I was 26w1d when they did the u/s. Very interesting how it all varies though.
Singletons.
I remember reading something about twins growing pretty much at the same rates as singletons until after 30 weeks (or something like that).
