Baby beach needs? Brainstorming for SIL...

My SIL is due with her 2nd boy in June.  She said they don't really need so much because she kept everything from her first son.  They have, however, moved to Florida, so I was thinking of putting together some things she may need for the beach since they live in Sarasota and go to the beach often.  We didn't take Ethan on his first beach trip till he was a year and a half, so I was going to look for one of the beach tents for her like I've seen a lot of you recommend.  Any other ideas?  They live in a condo and have a screened lanai but no yard, and are running low on space, so I'm just trying to brainstorm for some useful things.  Thanks!!

Something like this that the baby can be in and be sheltered from the sun, wind, sand, etc. My siblings all have something similar to this idea for their babies/kids when we are at the beach.

TB&AB

Sun hats and swim trunks with rash guard tops. A really big colorful blanket to lay out on the sand. Beach friendly baby toys that can be washed over and over. Tiny sunglasses. Hooded towels.

That is all I can think of. HTH

I just bought this https://www.amazon.com/Lightspeed-Quick-Shelter-Seconds-Sporting/dp/B004MA7IMW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1303470524&sr=8-1 at Costco for $36. It fits into a little blue bag with a strap (similar to those chairs that fold up into a bag).

We took DD to Myrtle Beach at 7 weeks.  We bought a small cabana from BRU - it has a little case and carrying strap.  We just took her small bouncy seat down and put her under an umbrella and cabana and she literally slept there all day.  It was a really relaxing vacation!  I know you said they're short on space, but we found having a wagon (or something else with wheels) made it easy to haul down all our beach stuff.  Also, hat, rash guard and sunscreen - our pedi said Blue Lizard Baby was fine for small babies.
