DH and I had a bet for March Madness with baby boy names. If his final pick won, we would use his #1 name if our baby was a boy, if my final pick won, we would use my #1 name if baby was a boy. Neither of our teams made it to the end, and we found out we were having a girl, so none of it mattered anyway, but it was still fun.
I thought of another thing we're probably going to do:
We're going to hang a small white board or poster board outside our delivery room and let nurses and passers by vote on our short list. It should be interesting!
And after you've read through those, you might also like to keep track of our daily Name Horrors Thread. There's not much in today's thread yet, but we often get stories of people choosing crazy names for crazy reasons.
I've heard a lot of names over the years as a teacher. Granted, this has ruined some names for me, but it has also inspired me to add some names to my list of favorites.
