What are you serving for Easter dinner/brunch etc...?

Looking for some creative side dishes and not really in the mood for ham but DH wants to keep it traditional. So what is on your menu for Easter dinner/brunch?

Re: What are you serving for Easter dinner/brunch etc...?

  • crab legs.  i grew tired of ham years ago.
  • Roasted chicken, green salad, potato salad, asparagus, roasted carrots, pineapple casserole, rolls.

I still feel like something is missing from the menu though.

  • If you don't want ham, you can do lamb, I would have that for Easter lunch growing up.

  • We'll be at my folks for Easter dinner. There's usually collards, peas, cucumbers and fresh tomatoes, pot roast w/potatoes and carrots OR ham, boiled cabbage and cornbread. Since my sister's a vegetarian, there are usually even more veggie options.

    Very typical southern Sunday dinner.

  • We follow DH's family tradition of lamb and pasta. Personally, I don't think those 2 things go together, but his Italian family swears they do, and it's what they have eaten every Easter forever....

Lamb, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, pasta with meat sauce
