DH is putting one in tonight because he can't grasp the whole swishing in the toilet concept. He literally took our prefold and started scrubbing it together, like folding it in half and rubbing all the poop INTO the diaper...
To my boys: I will love you for you Not for what you have done or what you will become I will love you for you I will give you the love The love that you never knew
In all my years of CDing (3 kids now), I've never dunked, swished or sprayed a diaper. Sometimes I use some toilet paper wadded up to pull off anything that's not coming off, and once, my dad accidentally dropped the diaper in the toilet.
DS #3 diagnosed at birth with panhypopituitarism - lack of pituitary function. He is treated with thyroxine, hydrocortisone, growth hormone and testosterone.
Don't use one yet but this made me lmao because I can picture dh doing the same thing!!!

DS has poop problems, he's chronically constipated because of other issues he has. So we have him on Miralax which means he has explosive wet poop. We've managed to keep him going but it means PEANUT BUTTER POOP all the time. There is no way my front loader would be getting that off. And he's FF. And we have a septic and EXTREMELY hard water.

Yah, I just use TP during the PB poop stages. And we have a TL that will get anything out. I struggled with wash routine until I turned up our water heater, moved to an initial warm rinse (instead of cold), and started using Rockin' Green Hard Rock.

I thought DH would be all about putting the sprayer on, since he is a mechanic and loves new toys (diaper sprayer could be a man toy... right??). He thinks its a bad idea and that we will end up with water on the bathroom ceiling so we are going to try it without one for a while.

Mine has been installed for 2 years. I've never had an accident with it, or have it leak or anything like that. Even with a PT'ing DS, who has a major curiosity to the thing read: he likes to sit on the toilet and try and fidget with it!
