I've been lurking here a while and hope to learn more from the always helpful DC nesties/bummies.
DH and I are growing our family through domestic adoption so planning for our LO is a little difficult, yet exciting with uncertain timing.
We are currently active with a national agency, waiting to be matched with our child- which means we could be matched tomorrow or a year + from now. Wanted to come out/introduce myself here before asking more questions.
Re: Hi, joining you over here
I remember your name from back in the day. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy match. Hopefully you'll be able to get info from this board even before that to help prepare - and certainly support now and when you bring a little one into your home. Good luck on this journey!

Will you have any advance notice of being matched? If not, I imagine that makes it very difficult to plan.
Thank you! It depends on the situation, we could get matched anytime from around 5 months into pregnancy to immediately following birth! The planner in me finds this a bit difficult but our nursery is ready to go and we have many essentials, just a few left to go!
Welcome! I look forward to seeing you around and hope your journey to parenthood is a short and smooth one!
welcome, good luck!
Good luck! I know 2 people who have done domestic adoption, and are very happy.
