I see the end to my funk

Yay! It has been a long time coming, but I will officially be working 7-3 starting May 2. This is going to take so much pressure off of me, as I will be able to enjoy my family for the first time in 5 years. I can meal plan, shop without a fussy toddler in the cart, do classes with DD, and play dates to the park in the evenings. I also might be able to run on a set schedule, and actually be consistent with it...race in my future, maybe. I am so stinking excited. A whole new world is emerging for me, as I will know when I will be home every day. Thanks for reading. I just had to share my excitement!

That's great! DH's schedule switched to first shift for the first time in March, and it has made such a difference in our lives. I feel like we have so much more time together and it's like we're a normal family. Unfortunately, his schedule will change again soon, but it is so nice right now! I'm sure you're all going to love it.

I'm doing ok...exhausted! Between Noah being in the VERY terrible two's and Levi crying all the time I feel like I'm going to lose my mind sometimes, but it can only get better, I hope!

Awesome. I can't even begin to imagine how freeing this is going to feel for you. Even when I got my work schedule changed from getting off at 7 to getting off at 3.. it was like a whole new world. This was pre-kids... but DH and I got to eat dinner together nightly, I got to go workout or take walks after work etc. It was awesome!! I hope you LOVE it!

I am so happy for you! It will really change your life for the better. Being on a "normal" schedule is such a wonderful thing. You will rest better and just have a better mindset.
