One that does well rear facing and forward facing. We are going to have to go ahead and buy one. Our daycare no longer will store your infant carseat and DH and I may alternate dropping off/picking up. She'll be rear facing for a while, so I need something that fits in a midsize sedan (Toyota Camry for me, Infiniti G20 for DH).
Re: Rec your convertible carseat
We have 3 Britax convertibles. I love them, but their are seats out there for every budget/car. I got amazing deals on all 3 of mine, otherwise I probably would have gone with something else.

First Years True Fit
It fits smaller infants well (C came home from the hospital at 6lbs in it) unlike some of the brands like Britex that don't really fit smaller babies well.
Fits well in smaller cars because the top is "removable" - I have a Honda Fit and it is behind the drivers seat (although in a couple months it will move to the middle seat RF).
Has one of the tallest shells on the market so it is less likely to be outgrown by height.
Combi Zeus 360 love the rotating feature. Very solid seat comfy seat. I drive a KIA Sportage.

We also have a Britax Roundabout in my husband's car.
