I'm looking for new ideas for Easter/Passover dinner and dessert. I feel like it always ends up being so close to Thanksgiving and I want something more spring/frest this year.
Honey-glazed ham, deviled eggs (although someone ends up calling them "angel eggs" b/c it's Easter ), ambrosia salad, green beans, crescent rolls. Yummmmmm...now I can't wait for Sunday!

We had roasted chicken (this recipe), matzo ball soup, roasted carrots, potatoes, and parsnips, asparagus, and flourless chocolate cake (subbing margarine for butter in the recipe.)
? cup chopped bell pepper (optional ? I don?t add)
1 2-oz jar sliced pimentos, drained (optional ? I don?t add)
1 tbsp instant chicken-flavored bouillon
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream of celery
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except Colby
cheese, mix well. Transfer into a greased/buttered 13 x 9 baking dish. Bake 55-60 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Top with remaining (Colby) cheese and bake 3-5 minutes or until cheese melts. Let stand 5 minutes.
is this really the best ever? better than mac & cheese? maybe i'll make this instead of mac & cheese so my jewish friends can eat it.

we also make this (for brunch type stuff) and yeah, it's awesome. I usually top w/ corn flakes + butter for some crunch before throwing it in the oven.

you know the corn flakes part just reminded me that my mom used to make something like that. i'm not sure if all the ingredients were the same, but yeah, it was super yummy. thanks ladies!

We did a roasted chicken with prunes and onions, matzo ball soup, carrots, potatoes, haroset and a lemon raspberry pie with a roasted coconut crust.
Growing up, my mom always made leg of lamb. I don't celebrate Easter anymore, but my sister does and she invites us over. She's been doing ham lately, but she said this year she is returning to the lamb.

My family always does lamb for Easter. Its a Greek thing.
They're in Michigan, though, and I don't like lamb. So we're roasting a chicken
