We're pretty set on Ryder as a first name, but we're having trouble with a middle name.

Any suggestions?

The hubby likes the nickname Van so I said we could do Ryder Van- but he said it makes him think of the moving truck company that way... Any thoughts?

Please don't use Van.  What are some family names? What is your style?

yeah, don't pair ryder and van. since ryder = rider, i would avoid anything that is, looks, or sounds like a word name. do you have any family names [preferably surnames] that would sound good with ryder and your last name?

for example, ryder thomas.

Yikes. I would steer clear of Ryder Van.  I would definitely do a more traditional middle name.

I really like PP suggestion of Ryder Dean.

Yea...Van would be a bad choice for a fn Ryder. Any traditional, real name would work.
