When did you start giving your LOs fruit in a mesh feeder? What did you give them? TIA!

I used it twice and retired it, it was an effing mess.  Now I just cut up pieces of fruit and let her eat them.  But, I used the mesh feeder right around 6 months.

I started last week or so. Watermelon, mango, honey due, pinapple, and cantelope.

Gah, really? I got it because someone suggested I put an ice cube in it for teething relief. I figured I might let him try some bananas, but I think I'll wait.

We tried it last week, and he wasn't a big fan. We tried banana, which he loves, and he wasn't impressed.

We just used one for the first time last night. He loved it, we put banana in it. A nurse told me you are not suppose to use ice or anything frozen on babys gums because it can damage them. Not sure if this is true? Just thought I would add. Oh and the feeder is a PIA to clean ...

I just started using it about a week ago.  I put frozen grapes in it.  I had no idea it might be bad for her gums, I think I'll call the pedi to ask and make sure. This morning I put a piece of apple in it.  She loves it!

a couple of weeks ago.  I've put peaches, banana, pears and apples.  If you just want to use it as a teether, use ice...no mess!

While waiting for my order to arrive from Amazon, I bought one at Walmart (I didnt realize they had them). He did not like it. I think he may like it more when he actually has teeth coming out but right now not so much. I am not opening my order until he likes using the one he has already. That way I can give unopened stuff to others for gifts if needed.
