How are these Qs for my WTF in 2.5 hrs????

1 - 8 eggs @ ER, 7M, 5F, 5 blasts @ 5dt, why were there no frosties?

2 - Is there an egg quality issue?

3 - Is there an egg quantity issue (FSH, DOR)?

4 -  Would have a 3dt been better or doesn't matter?

5 - Different protocol for IVF #2?

6 - My P4 levels were low, due to being on Crinone, should we add in PIO next time?

7 - Should we retest my thyroid since my TSH increased when I got my BFP?

What do you think ladies?  Am I missing anything?

    Hey Bella!  I don't have any additional questions for you, but I am anxious to see what your RE tells you.  I had similar stats - 8 retrieved, 7 mature, 7 fertilized, 5 almost blasts on day 5, 3 blasts frozen on day 6 for a transfer at a later date.  Were you antagonist?  Hoping you get some good answers and that egg quality/quantity is not an issue.

    Sounds like a good list of questions.  I'd also ask about additional testing before the next cycle.   Hope it goes well and you get some good answers!  Good luck!

    I would also ask about the ectopic itself - why did it happen, just random or could there be another possible issue (with tubes, etc) that might have made it more likely? Should you have a repeat HSG or any other testing to check things out before doing another cycle? etc.

    One last ditch effort at OE IVF (antagonist with Clomid) cancelled

    I think your questions are good, and I just wanted to add that I think it's amazing that you had 5 fertilized embryos and all 5 made it to blast - 100??  That's awesome.

    TTC in 2008. Stage II/III endo, Hashimotos hypothyroid, low morph (3%).
    2 cycles Clomid/Ovidrel/TI/Crinone=BFN.
    IUI #1 - 4 Follistim/Ovidrel/IUI/Crinone = BFN.
    IVF #1 - Antagonist w/ ICSI 4/10. 17 retrieved, 5DT of 2, BFN :(
    IVF #2 - Long Lupron w/ ICSI 6/10. 15 retrieved, 3DT of 2, BFFN!!
    Lap 7/21/10
    IVF #3 - Clomid/Antagonist w/ ICSI 10/10. 14 retreived, 3DT of 3, BFP 10/20 but m/c. No HB 11/15/10 - D&C 11/17/10.
    FET - 2 blasts, 1 survived the thaw. Transfer 2/19. Beta #1 3/1 375, Beta #2 3/3 885, Beta #3 3/8 4261, Beta #4 3/11 9005. U/S 3/8 1 sac 1 yolk, U/S 3/16 1 heartbeat 114bpm!

    Those seem like great questions. I would also ask why they think the ectopic happened. Wishing you a great appointment! I hope it's really helpful and makes you feel hopeful and excited for IVF #2.

    Hey- I always asked the doctor

    1. what she learned or could confirm from the cycle.  I never really got a straight answer, but I always asked.

    2. Do I need to do any additional diagnostic test

    Found DHs BT and Me-decreased blood flow to uterus
    Recommended DE IVF w/PGD, incorporate electro-acupuncture. Decided to cycle locally
