We have one year's worth of keepsakes, and I've been putting everything neatly in one cardboard box in the basement with the intention of doing something more formal when I figure out what that is. I have a mixture of clothing, artwork, cards, and other miscellaneous keepsakes. Any good ideas? Do you divide it up by baby, or just keep it all together? I'm not looking for display ideas, just appropriate storage solutions.
Re: How do you store mementos?
I hope this doesn't count as a display idea...
I took pictures of everything that I would normally have saved in a box and I'm making the kids a shutterfly (or blurb or mypublisher...) album of their first year of life. This way they have it to reflect on and I don't end up with 87 boxes in my basement.
In the in between times, I have the plastic storage bins that slide under a bed hiding all of the mementos away.
I love this idea!!!!
