F/U to "help me choose a house"

I posted the other day looking for opinions on choosing a house...if any of you care, we finally made our decision! Rental application has been accepted, and we move in a few weeks.

We chose house #2, the bigger house. As much as we loved house #1 and its charm and its neighborhood, I just knew I'd end up hating such a small kitchen. It was so awkward, and since we'd be signing a 3 year lease, if I hated it, I'd be stuck with it for a looong time. And ultimately, we knew that we wanted more space. We'll be sprawling out in 3100 square feet...Our first apartment together was a mere 650 square feet!

Thanks for all the tips and suggestions -- I always appreciate some outsider perspective!
