So I am out this cycle. Boo. Spotting since yesterday. Boo.

So here is my dilemma. DH's cousin is getting married in Mexico in November. We really would like to go as she came to our wedding. The IL's are asking questions if we booked our airfare and if we are coming (they know nothing of our IF struggles) and we keep avoiding the question.

I am not sure how far along I would be or how I would feel by November if we are successful between now and November. DH and I talked a bit and said we could make this a mini vacation and if I am PG, a babymoon.

Cost is not the issue as we would be able to afford the airfare and hotel.

I would go.  Since you are past the point of being due around the wedding, you would just have the possibility of being pg when you go.  Sounds like fun, and it sucks to have to always put everything on hold because of what may be.

My H and I booked an all-inclusive vacation for July...I could be newly pg or I could have to push back a cycle, but we decided we didn't care and wanted to do something fun this summer without worrying about all the what ifs that we think about all the time.

Book the trip. But get insurance -- just incase.

my brother and SIL (also struggle with IF) jsut did the same thing -- her BFF is getting married in Aruba next year, 2012, and they were sick of putting everything on hold for the what'ifs.

Ditto!  I can't stress enough about buying insurance. 

We didn't buy insurance on our last trip and had to cancel 4 days before b/c I had an ectopic pregnancy that needed to be monitored.  BUY the insurance!!!

Def check the cancellation policies/change fees before you book insurance.  For us, we can cancel our room up to the day before.  Also, we are using points for our flight so there wasn't big change fees associated with that.  The insurance may not be worth it for a flight/hotel trip, especially if you get the cancel for any reason.

I think for cruises especially it's a good idea, or flights that have big cancellation/change fees.

I would def go...

If you are PG by then, fantastic, but if you aren't, you will be miserable and heartbroken if you are sitting at home while your family is at the wedding.  Don't put your life on hold!
