Hello!

I have been lurking around on the infertility veteran's boards, there are some great people over there.

I stumbled upon this board- it is so nice to see that I am not the only one going through IF for my 2nd child! I have been on other Secondary IF boards, but this one seems much more active.

My history: I have a DD who is 22mo. We thought we were unable to get pregnant with her and we went to our first RE appt in September of 2008. We were set to start the medications and ultrasounds after my next AF (which was bring brought on by Provera)-----never got AF after Provera----I ovulated on Provera and got pregnant! so strange but wonderful! She is healthy and the light of my life.

When DD was 13mo we decided to start "trying" for #2. Well, its been 9 months now and still nothing. I started seeing the RE again in December of 2010. Did a round of Femera- nothing. Moved right to injectibles. Did Menopur in Feb 2011 got one follicle after 11 days of stims= BFN. I just started my 2nd round of Menopur 4 days ago. My next u/s is tomorrow (CD8) to see how things are growing. Hoping for a good month with a BFP. This infertility stuff is getting very expensive (we pay everything out of pocket) and I dont know how long we can do this for.

Welcome! I hope you get your second BFP real quick and don't have to spend alot of money to do so. Being OOP is one of the worst parts of IF. Good luck!
