i feel like she has been pregnant forever, but i think she announced it very early.
the nursery is beautiful and very well done, but totally nms. and all i can think of when i look at all that fabric around the cribs is how my son would either have yanked the whole thing off the wall the day he figured out how to stand in his crib or that it would have been covered in projectile spit up or vomit on a regular basis.
i also feel like i am the queen of gender neutral and that nursery is mad girly.
I don't think it's that girly, although it's a bit ornate for my style. However, I dress my son in bubbles and jon jons so I'm probably not the best judge of "girly".
I'm proud of her for keeping her Hello Kitty stuff in check. You know if she had G/G twins it would have been ALL HELLO KITTY. I love HK stuff and my b/g nursery only has one HK item in it - a plushie on a shelf that's dressed like Carmen Miranda (to go with the beachy theme of the room).
I wouldn't expect anything less from Maria Carey. It'll be intersting to see how much it changes in a year when all the primary color toys are in there clashing with all the pastel pinks/greens.
Course she'll probably have a separte play room for the toys.

It is very beautiful, but doesn't seem very functional. It looks more like and adults room with cribs in it. I also think it is way to girly for a boy. Love, love, love the giraffe.
I don't really like it. Good thing she has a lot of help, because that is a TON of white for a baby's room! I wan't to see it after her first double diaper poopsplosion
Re: Mariah Carey's nursery
Oh, mine looks just like that!
It is stunning!
Steal my kids picture or pretend they are yours, I will find where you live and ship all of their dirty diapers to your doorstep. Promise.
Beautiful but not my style..... did i miss something is she having two girls?

Agreed! She is having B/G. Looks like one of the bumpers has green ties...still very girlie to me.

That's me! His name is Max.
I'll be in the minority here I guess....I don't like it. It looks like a hotel room.
I like the curtain idea behind the cribs, the giraffe (of course!), and the mobiles are neat, but it looks like the Plaza, not a baby nursery.
I can't stand the crystal chandeliers and ornate furniture in a baby's room. I know it's very trendy right now, but I'm not into it.
