Mobile?

We want to transition DD into her bedroom.  We're thinking of getting a mobile, light show or sound machine (I can't think of the correct name)?  What do you recommend and why?

I like the stand alone light show/sound machine because it keeps their attention off of being alone and, I think, soothes them to sleep. You won't have to worry about the baby pulling it down or it falling on her either.

My only suggestion is whatever you get, make sure it is one that comes with a remote!   The one we had for ds was voice activated but that feature would turn off after an hour or so, meaning we'd have to get up to go turn it on if he needed it during the middle of the night.
