Lol, I'm going to take this as I don't look too "mom-like". 

I always had really long hair and before L I took really good care of myself and tried really hard to be pretty.  After L got here, I barely have time to shower and all my hair started falling out.  It felt so good to chop it all of!  It's just hair, it's gonna grow back.  Plus as an added bonus, my kid has a much harder time grabbing at it.
