bathtime meltdown--help please

The other night, after DH had drained all the water, L had a code brown in the tub--fairly runny consistency.

Since then, L does NOT want to take a bath.  He cries when we put him in the tub.

Suggestions on how to make him feel comfortable in the bath again?  He used to LOVE bathtime.

Please help.  Thanks.

Some stuff that worked for us.  He also really really loves these colored bath drops.
Thanks.  He loves elmo, so maybe that mat would be great--we have one, but elmo might be better.  And as for the colored tablets--can you get them locally?

Yep, you can get them at BRU.  They may have a different label though.  I think Big Bird was on ours but they appear to be the exact same thing.  He really enjoyed mixing two of them to see what color he would get.  They never stained him or the bathtub, and we have one of those cheapass 80s plastic tubs.  The only drawback is that somehow we always end up with a bunch of yellow ones at the end of the container.  So is last few baths pretty much look like he's bathing in pee.  Awesome.
