That chick on gm:) who had a car drive into her house really farking pissed me off.  All she's worried about is if the kid had car insurance or not.  Not the fact that he had a seizure.  Not the fact that he might have broken both his ankles.  Just worried that he had car insurance.

Yeah that is not very thoughtful of her.  At all.  Obviously it was an accident.  And it won't even be a homeowners claim unless the damages exceed the driver's property damage coverage on his auto policy.  (can you tell I work in auto ins for a living, haha).

I just don't even get the big deal, if you own your home you have to have homeowners insurance.  

if you rent, the landlord's homeowners insurance should cover repairs

and if you rent and don't have renters insurance, you're an idiot.  

why does the kid having insurance matter?
