BOB stroller owners

I'm looking to get DH the sport utility duallie for fathers day/his birthday this year-thoughts? What are the main differences between the sport utility and others?

DH is a big runner. 5-7 miles on weekdays, 9 miles on weekends, so I wantn to get him a good running stroller.

I think the biggest difference between the models is the tires, so it'd probably depend on where he runs as opposed to how much which one you want.  i.e. does he run on trails/off road or on pavement.  We have the Revolution and I love it.  I'm not a runner (hence the C25k aspirations) but SO is and he's happy with it.

Where does your SO run? I think 95% of his running will be on pavement,rarely off road or trails.

Where does your SO run? I think 95% of his running will be on pavement,rarely off road or trails. 

On pavement, the most uneven surface we use it on is at the dog park and that's just because it's old sidewalk.

I learned my lesson after someone posted about their BOB breaking during vacation and I went off about how I really wanted that stroller and it sucked that theirs broke. Yea, now I always specify!!

HAHA I'd never heard of it being called a "BOB" before then.  Then I was horrified in another thread of the number of people saying they've never owned one.

HAHA no, I felt nothing but pity for the unenlightened.  I don't visit with BOB on a regular basis these days but I know he's waiting for me.

I have the revolution and the front tire swivels, but has the option to lock. I know that one model has a stationary tire which works well if you will use it just for your husband's running.
