You went to your first bar? I grew up in Wisconsin, we are raised in the bars. I couldn't tell you the first time... here it's legal for kids to drink in bars as long as their parents are present. Kinda ridiculous, but so common!

I want to take you out for a night bar hopping (post pregnancy, of course). I'm thinking an innocent beginning to the night (perhaps at a pub), followed by a karaoke bar and ending the evening at an all out dance club. Oh, and ending the evening with a sea dog. Any other bumpsters in?

I agree with the PP about being from WI, seeing kids in bars is pretty common around here.  My mom worked as a bartender part time when I was younger (elementary school age), so my dad would take me and my sisters to visit and have a soda on Saturday afternoons.  The first time I drank in a bar I was 19.

i know i drank at an early age.  i was in fifth grade and my best friend was in eighth, and she was a bad girl so i followed her lead.  the good part was by the time i got to high school and all my friends were making asses out of themselves, i was kind of past that.  i pretty much stopped drinking altogether in my early 20s (i have an occasional drink, but almost never get drunk).

18, 17, 17.  I didn't even need a fake ID - it was a small town in CO where I was working for the summer and they just didn't care as long as we behaved.  All 3 of these happened in the 2 summers I worked there!  Never send  your kids to work at a resort!
