So far I have M&Ms, jelly bellys, Annie's bunny fruit snacks, Annie's bunny crackers, easter stickers, play doh. I need to do quite a few eggs as we have a lot of kids hunting and I don't want to do all candy. Any ideas?
We did too - my extended family is local and I have a lot of cousins around the same age. As we got older, the money amounts got larger because our parents still liked to watch us hunt. One year they even hid beer for us - LOL, I think after that year they decided we really were too old and there were a couple years off hunting until the cousins started having kids.

I love it, what a brilliant idea. We bribe my teenage cousins to hunt....most eggs have a dollar, but the golden egg...and yes, it is gold colored, has a $20 in it.
I just found a pack with two gold eggs and was trying to come up with something AWESOME to put in it. I think I'll pick up a few packs of Target gift coins. DS will love that as he totally knows what gift cards are for.
I enjoyed when there was money We always had the golden egg that had money in it....back in the day the golden egg would have bills in it (like $3) while some other eggs might have some coins in them (would range from like $.10-.25). It was always fun to see who found the golden egg which was always hidden so well. Eggs that didn't have candy in them would have little things like erasers and such in the them.
I put hair clips, little sponge dissolving capsules, play jewelry (rings), and fingertip crayons in Weezy's. Olive just has a couple of eggs with pacifiers hidden in them.
Re: What do you put in plastic Easter eggs?
