update to little dude's sleeping

so, we took out the bunny clock and the mirrors.

he's not so scared anymore  

but apparently he doesn't like the wall map that was there. we're talking floor to ceiling entire width of the wall  old school world map! it's super cool, but h said it was scary.

 so he wants dinosaurs (di o roars). we're ok with that, and he's picked out some cartoonish kinds that should be ok

question, any ideas on how to cover up the map, w/out taking it down? we love the map and hope he'll want it there when he gets a little bigger.

Could you take some butcher paper and cover it with that? You could maybe put the din o rars on the butcher paper, too. Sounds like a really cool map!

Glad to hear he's not scared anymore!  Ditto to pp's - he could have fun sticking 'din o roars' all over the map.  You could talk about the dino's living in different parts of the world.
