Harrisburg Daycare/Part-time

Hi and I hope everyone is enjoying their pregnancy/little ones. Can anyone recommend a daycare in Harrisburg? I read the posts about Mechanicsburg/Carlisle daycares but we live and work in Harrisburg so would need something here. Also, I'm looking to send her just 3 days a week to start because DH is only working 3 days now. But we would need the flexibility to increase/decrease when his schedule changes again. Has anyone had any experience with part-time day care and how much flexibility have you had with it? TIA!!

U-Gro in TecPort (by the Harrisburg Mall) does part-time down to two days a week. My son goes Thursdays and Fridays, and we love it!

Regarding flexibility, they're always moving kids up and around, so I think they could probably accommodate schedule changes with enough notice.

I have a close friend who works there. It's a great place.

Thanks all of you!! Does anyone know about the one @ HACC? That is so close to where we live. But I am planning to check out the U Gro at HACC and the one at TecPort.

I sent DD to Goddard School off Linglestown Road 3 days a week. However, you have to pay FT prices for the nursery, but they will do 3 days a week/PT after you move up to the next room. They were always very flexible with me if I needed to change my days around. I loved it there, but it was a little pricey. We moved to Etown recently, so I now have my kids at a Hildebrandt which does PT for nursery. I think there are Hildebrandts in Harrisburg, but I believe there are waiting lists.

The U-Gro in TecPort is amazing....there seriously aren't other schools like this in the area. I know because we're having to take DD out due to the location of my new job, and we are having to "settle" for a Kindercare that is more expensive and not even close to being as nice. A real bummer.
