Hi all - I'm almost at 26 weeks and have been continuing to workout through my pregnancy. I do spinning twice a week and feel great but the only thing I'm worried about is the loudness of the music in class. It's REALLY loud and I wonder if it can be harmful to my baby. Thanks in advance for your input!
Re: Loud music - bad for baby?
no way. baby is way protected by fluid, tissue layers of muscle and tissue etc.
I think you're fine. I went to a concert last week and was concerned about this same thing. I found this article, which made me feel better.

Your ears will be damaged well before any part of your baby's body will be.
I did read that constant loud noises can stress the baby, but I doubt a spinning class twice a week counts as "constant loud noises".
