what to fill Easter eggs with for school?

Little's Easter celebration is on Thursday at school and we were asked to bring 9 plastic eggs, I'm assuming for a egg hunt.  They said to fill the eggs with a small toy or treat, just not chocolate. (kids are all 2-3yo)

What should I put in there?  What will even fit?  I've never filled eggs before.

Would a small pack of fruit snacks fit?  Any ideas?

  • I cut up stickers and put them in there and organic animal crackers.
  • Loading the player...
  • I put stickers in the eggs I sent DS to school with.

    :-)

  • In addition to goldfish, animal crackers, and stickers, I'm "that mom" who puts raisins in the eggs. Maybe 1 in 5 kids is happy to get raisins. Oh, well. At least I'm not putting pennies in them!
  • I'm going to put stickers in our eggs for school

Are y'all at home daycares/MDOs?  Or centers?  I only ask because our center made it very clear that anything in the eggs had to be in its original wrapper.

Yeah, I don't want to put anything in there I can't keep in the wrapper.  I think it's just cleaner and safer that way.

    We're at a center.

  • I filled the eggs with stickers.  L's classmates are btw 18-28 months.
