We Ferbered Jack about 6 months old and he's been sleeping through the night and not waking us up since then. The only time he wakes is when he's sick so of course we take care of whatever he needs when he's sick and he goes back to STTN once he's well.
However, he had Hand Foot and Mouth a few weeks ago and ever since then he wakes up at 4:30 screaming for his paci. The death curdling screaming not just crying crying. He will not go back to sleep till we give it to him and then he's out in a matter of seconds. BTW: I get up at 6 am so him waking up then kills my sleep pattern. When he woke up at 2-3 it wasn't so bad but I'm barely back to sleep or sometimes I end up just staying awake because I'm so awake (I hate having insomnia).
What should we do? Keep giving it to him and hope he goes back to STTN? Take away the paci all together?
Re: In need of night time paci advice.
Yup, I do this but he likes to throw them in his sleep. It's very funny to watch on the monitor. We also keep one one the railing just so we don't have to find one at night.
