But I totally did this morning at DS's daycare. The CEO was there this morning, "welcoming" all the families to let them know they will be closing. The teachers/staff had a meeting about it last night. One of DS's teachers took him this morning and started to cry. It was really sad. I know how hard it is for me. But I have to remember some of these teachers have been with the kids that are now 2-3 yo since they were babies. I definitely got in my car with tears in my eyes.

Re: I don't usually get misty eyed at this kind of stuff...
What a sad situation for all involved. It sounds like it was a great place for Alex to go. I hope you find somewhere great for him soon. (((HUGS))) mama
P.S. Love your siggy--Alex is too cute!
You know, it's funny. I had a few issues with the staff, but they loved Alex so much. The way they treated him, and cared for him - it is sad
