Cincinnati Babies

I don't usually get misty eyed at this kind of stuff...

But I totally did this morning at DS's daycare. The CEO was there this morning, "welcoming" all the families to let them know they will be closing. The teachers/staff had a meeting about it last night. One of DS's teachers took him this morning and started to cry. It was really sad. I know how hard it is for me. But I have to remember some of these teachers have been with the kids that are now 2-3 yo since they were babies. I definitely got in my car with tears in my eyes.

  • What a sad situation for all involved.  It sounds like it was a great place for Alex to go.  I hope you find somewhere great for him soon. (((HUGS))) mama

P.S. Love your siggy--Alex is too cute!

You know, it's funny. I had a few issues with the staff, but they loved Alex so much. The way they treated him, and cared for him - it is sad Sad

  • Aw, I'm sure it's tough and difficult for all involved.  I'm sorry you have to go through this!

  • It can really pull at the heart strings when you have to say goodbye to people who care for your child(ren), especially when you know they genuinely care for your DC (and vice versa). However, I promise you that there are a number of quality options out there...no matter what childcare option you decide is best for your family. Wink
