Anyone else have issues with Enfamil Gentlease?

My LO was on Goodstart and was having some pretty painful gas. I switched her to Gentlease about 1.5 weeks ago. I started to see some improvement but now it seems at least 3 times a day, even with gas drops, she gets to where she'll curl her legs up and yell in what seems is pain. She'll not be comfortable in any position. This lasts for about an hour or so. And then she burps or poots and she's out like a light! She never did this before and I'm curious if it's linked to the formula.

Yup, neither one of my kids could tolerate enfamil gentlease. DS did great on good start gentle, while DD does fine on generic similac sensitive.

my boys spit up a lot with that formula. They went from that to A.R, Good start, Nutramigen and now just Enfamil Premium which is working great. It's sad we had to go through all that but the A.R constipated the hell out of them. Good Start was worse than Gentlease. Then the dr. suggested Nutramigen. omg...the diarrhea.  But now they are happy on this formula.

DD had the same issues.  Our doc said that she may be sensitive to lactose and had us try Similac Sensitive.  She has been doing great on it for about a month now.  The painful gas seems to be gone and she is eating like a champ!

I think this is what we're going to go with. The poor girl just squeals with pain. I feel horrible for her and I don't want to overuse the gas drops. Sucks I just bought a brand new thing of Enfamil. Oh well!
