Devastated

I am 7dp5dt (FET). I got a BFP on 5dp and 6dp with a $Tree hpt. The line yesterday was a little darker than Sunday's, so I was feeling pretty good. I took a FRER this morning and there was no line. FRER's are more sensitive than $Tree so there definitely should have been a line. I can only imagine that my embie(s) tried to implant, but couldn't. I am so upset right now. I feel sick to my stomach. I wish I would have never POAS so when I get my negative beta I would have been unaware that my FET almost worked. What a great start to the day.
TTC #1 since 7/09

Re: Devastated

  • Actually according to POAS.com, dollar tree is more sensitive then FRER, Dollartree was shown to show a positive with 7 HCG and FRER, the newer ones, 10. On the package they both claim to read 25 HCG.

So I would not give up hope just yet.

It has been a while and I know things change, but back in the day of my religiously POAS, no one liked FRER and a lot of people tried to avoid them.

    Good luck!

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

  • Ok..we all know I'm not one to give false hope..but...with my BFP in October, the night before my beta I had a positive FRER, positive digi and positive Clear Blue..the morning of my beta I took another FRER and digi and they were both negative. My beta was like 18 or something..so it was positive!

    Good luck hun...thinking of you!

  • Don't give up hope just yet.
    This cycle, I got a +ve on a cvs own brand at 5dp 5dt.
The next 2 days, I got negatives on both cvs and FRER. I was devestated.
Only at 8dpt did I start to get very faint positives again.

Not trying to give you false hope, but don't give up either. I've also heard that frozen cycles can take a little longer to show up.

Best of luck for your beta, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

  • I'm sorry the pee sticks are messing with your head.  I hope you're able to move up your beta to this week so you don't have to wait so long wondering what's going on in there.  FWIW, I got much darker BFPs on my FRERs when I took them in the evening.  Good luck, hon.  Hope this is it for you!
