I apologize for the weird randomness. 

A while back there was a discussion involving how winter zombies would suuuuucccck.  And then someone posted that in actual fact, winter zombies are suspended in a somewhat frozen state to become reanimated later once the temperature starts rising again, as stated in some definitive post-apocalyptic zombie novel.  

I tried searching but couldn't find it.  What was that novel?  Anyone?  Anyone?

I don't know that book but its completely wrong.  According to Game of Thrones (now on HBO!!!) the zombies only come out when its cold.

Yep, it was me. And yes, it's World War Z. It really is a fantastic read. I wish I hadn't read it yet so I could read it for the first time.

I'm SO not into zombies (though I watched the first two eps of The Walking Dead and LOVED it) but I really love that this post exists.
