Easter Basket

I have DD's easter basket all ready for production but I'm not sure when we're getting together (I also have a large basket for her little brothers to share).  I will PIP when I have it assembled, but I'm just so excited to give it to her!! I got her (and her brothers) a limited amount of candy this year but I did get her a new outfit for her American Girl Doll and a butterfly necklace. 

This is the "basket" that I bought for her (from Vera Bradley).  She'll be 7 soon and I think she'll like it.  DH thinks she's too young for a purse, but I don't think so.  I'm sure she takes one to church with her at least!  Eekk! I'm so excited to see her soon!!!

Oh my gosh, that is so adorable!!!  Did they have other patterns?

She's def not too young for a purse.  My DD is only 17 months and started carrying one around the house.  She'll pick up anything and sling it over her arm like a purse...she also tucks remotes, blocks, books, etc between her ear and shoulder and uses them as a phone.

LOL.  Yes.  They had 4 patterns in this style.  It's only available April 14-24th.  I love Vera Bradley so I just had to get her one!  I thought this pattern was the best for a little girl at Easter.  It's called "Little Princess", the print is "Watercolor".  It's a little small for an Easter Basket, so I'll have to give her a little gift bag for the other stuff I got her (clothes and books).

That is so cute!!! I have a classroom full of kids 5-7 years old and they would ALL love to have this "basket" to show off at school! I love Vera, I am not sure how I missed out on this one! (Must be since I have been deleting all the email from them recently... the Vera Bradley local sale was this month and drained my funds!)
