I'm back and still alive!

So I have returned from CA and am relatively unscathed.  Elijah got his first tooth and broke skin on his second while we were there .... oh and learned a new motor skill (crawling), so night time sleep was totally hit and miss, but we are no worse for the wear.  He was such a good boy on all the flights and with all the new people and places.

 DH and stepson painted the hall and living room while we were gone and they look amazing!  DH even brought flowers to the airport last night.  The house was also clean and smelling good when I came home.  I can't wait to see them again tonight.

Wow welcome back! - you're so brave!!!  We have yet to take our kids on a flight.

Well you do have two.  He was really good on the planes.  The only fussing was when momma didn't get the bottle fast enough.  He was a little squirrelly because he wanted to play but if I could keep him occupied with a toy that wasn't a toy (he is much more interested in a cup or something than any real toy) or by playing a game he was okay.  I'm sure my fellow passengers thought I was insane.  He flirted with EVERYONE and we made friends of our seatmates on our 4.5 hour flight back here.  Everyone just kept telling me how lucky I was and how good my baby was and how good a mom I was.  I thought that was nice.  They obviously didn't see him smearing cereal all over his head in San Fran!

I can't believe you had such a great time flying and no issues.  And how sweet of your DH to take care of the house and greet you.
