Tulip festival update?

Did anyone happen to go to the Tulip Festival this weekend?  I saw the posts below and am curious if anyone went this past weekend.  We're thinking about going on Friday but it seems like it might be a waste if not many fields are in bloom, or aren't looking good.

    Apparently this past weekend only 12 out of 55 fields were in bloom.  But I'm guessing with the forecasted sun this week it could change alot by next weekend....

    This. I know a few people that went this weekend and were disappointed. It should be a lot better by Friday if we actually get the sun they are predicting.

    We ended up  not going.  The Inlaws did not want to drive up there.  I think DH and I are going to Ds up next weekend.

    The tulips in my yard (in b'ham) have gone from green to red since yesterday.  Not open, yet, though.  And since my yard is the meter for skagit tulip blooms, that should be plenty of information ;)

    We went up there on Saturday. The fields are not in full bloom at all. You can see then there but the colors are not fully blooming yet. There were a few place that had Dafodills. You coluld see the colors of the purple tulips but not nearly as pretty as when they are blooming

    We're hoping that the fields continue to bloom this week!  A few of us on this board were thinking about meeting up there on Friday morning.

    I was thinking about heading up there later this week as well, weather permitting :)

    Anyone know if you can use strollers? It would be 1000x easier to bring ours than chase Harper!
