T&P for DD's BFF

DD's BFF fell off her bike on Friday and broke her jaw in 3 places and lost a few teeth. They are thankful it wasn't her head since she wasn't wearing a helmet. They spent two nights in the hospital and BFF is having surgery tomorrow on her jaw. They're looking at 6-8 weeks of recovery. As is standard procedure they also had CPS come visit them to investigate the accident. Understandably the family is stressed and worried. The recovery is going to be brutal for BFF. Sounds awful. Poor DD is so worried for her friend. Please send good vibes that everything gets fixed and the healing process is quick.

Oh no!!!  I fell off my bike when I was about that age and busted up my chin pretty badly.  I hope she has a speedy recovery - hopefully her young age will make it a quick and (relatively) painless process for her.

that sounds absolutely miserable -- definitely sending t&p their way!  (and another reason to keep reminding my DH to have my daughter wear a helmet even when riding on the sidewalk!)
