Tomorrow my parents are bringing DS to meet me for lunch and to take a walk in our strip district to do a little shopping. It's not the stroller-friendliest due to the crowds and outdoor stands set up. I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier but can I use the Ergo or Bjorn carriers on my back to carry DS (he's about 25 lbs)? I looked briefly online and I didn't see anything about that. Or maybe I can with the Ergo, I haven't taken that out of the box yet though! I'm pretty sure at this point carrying him in front of me won't be possible. Or do you have any other tips on how to contain him? I don't have an umbrella stroller (wishing I did now), just the Chicco travel system one. I may have to just use that...
Thanks!

Wore my then 15 month old in both back and hip holds in the Moby when I was 7 months pregnant and touring the US mint (where they don't allow strollers).
Not exactly relaxing but totally do-able!

Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
You might be able to do the Ergo on your back still at this point, but it's going to depend on your comfort with it crossing under you baby bump. I used the Ergo with DS on the front more comfortably than with him on my back while I was pg; but this late in your pg it might not work that way.
I was able to use my Sleepy Wrap with DS on my back at 27 weeks with a big belly, so I know that can be done, but it's best if you have a little help to get him on (I did it by myself at home twice and it was a pain to keep him balanced...and tie him on at the same time...while leaning over forward...with a baby bump...lol).
I'd probably take the stroller, to be honest. If nothing else you can leave it in the car and use the carrier, but you will still have the stroller if you need it.
