Mom hag WWYD?

You're working in the yard doing heavy, dirty work and it's time to go pick your child up from school. (You have to go inside to get the child.)

Do you go as you are in old cut-offs, no shower, mud and dirt caked under your fingers?

Or do you stop working, go inside and do the whole shower/clean-up/change clothes thing even though you're short on time and as soon as you get home you're going to need to go right back to the yard and garden work?

  • I'm probably one of the more high maintenance posters here and I would go as is.

  • 1. wear gardening gloves, so it saves your hands

    2. I would change shirts and pants, was my face at least and then change back when I get home.

Just kidding- I would go as is.  I would likely wash my hands, maybe throw a hoodie over my shirt and just say something like "Gotta get back to my planting!" if I got any weird looks.

  • I would go as is.  As said, maybe throw on a shirt over what I have on, but that's really probably about the extent of it.

  • I'm jealous that you can work in the yard, it's snowing here today.
  • I would go as is, but I don't have to get out to get DS, they bring him to the car. I'd still go as is though even if I had to go in to get him.
  • I would wash my hands/face as well as I can and make sure I wasn't leaving a trail of dirt behind me in the car/school but pretty much go as I am.
