New here...question about c-section scar area

The area by my scar is nasty/saggy looking. Is there anything I can do to help tame it? I've tried compression undies, etc. but nothing seems to help it. I'm 1 month PP. TIA.

You are 1 month pp. Give it some time to heal. It's not even done doing that yet.  I think it was at least 6 months before mine started to look semi-normal. Even now at 2.5 years later, it's mostly flat but I have a few little bumps/lumps which is normal scar tissue.

It will definitely take time to go back to "normal." Some people have suggested using mederma or one of those anti-scarring skin creams. While I don't think this will prevent a scar from being present it may lighten it slightly. I found that eventually my belly went back to normal and the scar is barely noticeable. It is still numb right on the incision, but I think that's pretty normal, too.

I am 2 mos PP. I stick to loose clothing for now...lots of dresses and empire waist tops.

6 months pp here.  the swelling has gone down tremendously now.  up until maybe 3 or 4 months, my tummy sort of hung ove rth escar, but now it's all smooth
