Re: Anyone follow the Matt Logelin blog?

  • No! lol. I read it right after he started blogging and it always led to me crying at my desk! Although I bet its not as hard to read these days! I saw that he had a book come out though!

  • I can't go that night :sob:: I'm going to look into vetting a boog signed anyways, though.

  • Nope, still can't handle that. Just reading the book title made me start crying. That's all I do these days, so I'm going to avoid putting the saddest of the sad right in front of my face.
  • I love the blog and would love to read the book even though I know it will probably bring me to tears.  I'd love to go to the book signing but I'm sure it will be crazy packed.

You know, I've always wondered about this.  How do you vet a boog, anyway? Wink

    (Sorry! Just made me laugh)

As for Matt's book signing, I'm probably not going to go only because I hate crowds. But I hope it's a great turn out!

  • I do follow his blog, and I'm 2/3 through the book. Yikes, it's hard to read, but he's a good writer. I have not been able to stop thinking about his situation since I started reading the book last week.

I probably won't go to the book signing, but I hope there's a good turn out.

I tried reading his blog  back when his wife died, etc.  Heart-breaking story, certainly.  But his writing style drove me bonkers.  So, I must admit I'm curious:  is the book written in regular sentences and paragraphs, or does he still do that

    two or

    three words on

    a line

    at a time

    and thus

    draw everything

    out

    thing?

AGREED!  I followed his blog for awhile and his story truly is a great one, but I couldn't stand reading like that.  No way am I reading the book if it's more of that style.

I don't really read his blog anymore because of that (I just look at the pictures). The book is not written like that..it flows pretty well and has quite a few f-bombs.
