City Jogger Fit - can it be used as a daily stroller too?

Hi all! So originally we were going to buy the City Mini and then purchase a jogging stroller off of  CL. DH and I want to be able to take the stroller running, so we really want a true jogging stroller. We're not HUGE runners, but after baby is born, I'm wanting to train for a half marathon.

Anyway...so my mom just told me that for my birthday coming up, she wants to purchase a stroller. I was going to tell her the City Mini..but then I came across the Fit. It's got great reviews for jogging, but it does have the fixed wheel in front that makes it a little difficult to maneuver. Still has all the awesome benefits of the City Jogger strollers, though.

Does anyone have this stroller? Do you think it could be used as our everyday stroller? I'll most likely be getting the carseat adapter for it for the beginning as well. I'm just wondering if it will get annoying having the fixed wheel in front when we're strolling the mall, etc.

It would annoy me.  You'll have to pop a wheelie to turn every time.

I am in love with the Baby Jogger Summit since you have the choice of making the front wheel fixed OR swivel.

Thanks....the problem with the Summit is that it's only for light jogging...not for marathon training/heavier jogging
