Help! DS2 is heartbroken over a new baby

DS2 is 15 months old, we picked him up from his grandparents today and his reaction to the new baby is not what we expected.

DS2 cries every time I touch the new baby. It makes me feel horrible.

 Does anyone have any advice on this kind of situation?

I don't have much in terms of advice. Maybe try and get him involved with the new baby as much as possible?  I know that's not easy wince he's only 15 months old, but maybe he can "help" with bathtime, or "singing" the baby to sleep with you???

Let your DS be involved with the new baby as much as possible. If you're holding the baby, let him come sit on your lap. When he does nice things, like touch the baby gently, praise him like crazy. Sit on the floor when you're holding the baby and play with toys with him. When DS2 is going down for a nap, try to give your oldest as much attention and special time as possible. Get him some new toys so he has something to be distracted with when you have to feed/tend to the new baby.

GL-I'm sure he will adapt pretty quickly.
