Re: Making the switch and need help!
I don't know what brands Target carries, but if they're by Gerber I'd steer clear like pp said! BRU sells gDiapers, but those also seem to get pretty mixed reviews. For the big brands like BumGenius I like to shop at Kelly's Closet, Jillian's Drawers, Abby's Lane or Nicki's Diapers. We prefer pocket diapers which have a waterproof cover that you stuff with absorbant inserts. Once stuffed they basically function exactly like a disposable. Very dad/sitter/daycare friendly!

YOu can also try googling 'your city name cloth diapers' to see if any stores near you sell cloth. (Or go to one of the big manufacturers websites and look at their retail locations (FuzziBunz and BumGenius are generally good for that).
I think Target may have gdiapers, but they're only ok. Mine have all been bought from online retailers, consignment stores or our local cloth diaper store.
