I went with one from Nimblephish on HC ($45 for a 16 inch custom doll, which fits preemie cloths :-)
Here's a picture of the little lady who will be coming to live with us (except ours will have blue/grey eyes):
They also come with a cloth diaper & blanket. How cool is that?
Re: FU: I ordered Lucy her doll :-)
aw! i really like her, where did you find her?
eta: duh, it says right there in your post. all i did was look at the picture. go to bed, heather.
Here's her HC
Here's her FB page
She's going to stock knit items soon for the dolls. :-)

(All the books say you should buy tools and trucks for girls and dolls for boys and let them decide for themselves what they want to play with. So I can buy a dolly for my son if I want to d@mn it!)
...Baby Blog...CD Blog...
I support this. Though I'll have to hide the dolly from DH until DS develops an attachment to it.
I've been looking for a nice handmade doll that doesn't cost an arm and a leg for DD for when the baby arrives.
Where did you specify what skin tone, hair color etc you wanted when you placed your order? Also, where did you see that the doll fit preemie clothes? I am debating between the 12 and 16 inch doll. DD is tiny, so I don't want the doll to consume her small size! (FWIW-I am getting her a baby sling to carry the doll in, so I don't want the doll to be huge when she is trying to wear it!).
I have a Happy Heiny doll diaper.....I wonder if that will fit either/both of these dolls?!?!
My DH is totally for girl stuff for our DS. I am always picking out blue stuff and boy toys and DH tries to get flowers and pink things lol. He also bought him his first gun already...but he wants a pink gun for our not even planned yet daughter
