There's a monsoon out there tonight and it ripped a piece of siding off my house. A few of my neighbors' houses, too! So, I am hiding inside where it is dry and warm.

My evening here is going good.  Second one in a row I've actually been able to do something other than try to get DS to sleep.  Although the modified Ferber sucks ass, it's definitely working.  He only cried for about 15 seconds tonight, then it took him about a minute or two to get comfy and fall asleep. So, I've been working on a custom wrap I'm making for SnoopyLuv, and watching crappy TV.

I am kind of here. I wish I was having sex! My husband ain't here though... ): 

My friend & her boyfriend are picking up his dog soon (I doggysat so they could go to Austin). Once they do that, I am seriously going to pass out. I feel a headache coming on and I haven't slept more then 5 hours straight (insomnia & anxiety) for the past 2 weeks.

OBH, you're not in the part of the country where all of those tornados keep circulating, are you? Though it would be pretty neat if you came back with some trippy land of Oz story! Oh, and I've been around, just not really posting as much. Never fear, I'll always be here with yooh.

KMeek, oh you! We don't get tornadoes here. Usually just really bad wind. I am guessing it is bc of the tornadoes elsewhere that we are getting hit with this, though. I still want my trippy Oz story, though, damnit!

My evening has been a good one, and good for DD as well!  Around 5:30 we had dinner with DH before he went to work, when he left we went for a walk...seen a cat pooping and some little girls said, "We want to pet your dog, will you come here?"  I just kept walking, if there was a parent outside I might have considered letting them, but eh.  Then we drove to the post office, drove around town a little, went to the store and I bought some baby food (because I tried pureeing some in my blender and my blender sucks ass), now I'm about to chow down on some chips and salsa while feeding DD peaches.

OBH - your DD and Easter picture are ADORABLE!

As for the wraps,yeah, I'm working on more like the ones I've posted pics of.  Here is a link to a chart with a lot of the ways you can use a wrap - it has links to the instructions for each type of carry.  It's super versatile.  I mostly use the forward facing cross carry and double hammock, but I have done some hip carreis also. The AP board is also really useful for learning how to use wraps - they are the ones that helped me a lot when I was first learning (and again now that I've started doing the back carries)
