One down, one to go!

Wyatt came home Tuesday night and miss Annabelle should be home by next week!  I should be 37 weeks today, instead they are 7 weeks old!  Maybe when I am not in the NICU all day everyday I'll get to stop by here from time to time!  Miss you gals!

  • It's going!  DS nurses all but 1-2 feedings when he gets fortified breastmilk, per recommendation upon discharge from the NICU  And DD gets nursed when I'm up at the hospital, which was  a lot more when her brother was still there and expressed bm when I'm not.  I pumped every 3 hrs. for the first month and now that the babies are nursing I'm trying to pump less, as my supply is abundant (thankfully!) and I'd like to nurse and go back to bed in the middle of the night, instead of nurse, pump, bed.

Hopefully we'll have a smooth transition to nursing when DD gets home!  Come on Tandem Nursing!!

Wow - good for you!  Supply is KEY, so I'm really happy that it hasn't been an issue for you.

Tandem feeding saved my life- but I coudln't do it right away like other MoMs could- we didn't figure it out until Week 6- but that's also when I feel like we finally figured BF out!
