very long, chaotic day with home improvements

First our hot water tank was on its way out....we were hoping to baby it for another 2 weeks.  But nope last night we had NO hot water whatsoever.

Josh was coming today to install the centrail air unit....he order a new tank for us.  This one is much bigger and it was in stock.

While dh went to go pick it up Josh started working on the AC.  He was checking the refridgeration coil pressure when it exploded under pressure.  Nothing broke...just needed a new coupling.  luckily nobody was hurt.  Then he found out the wiring for the thermosat was wrong so he had to rewire that.  Now instead of just 1 thermosat I have 2 ... one for the heat which is in the hallway and another for the AC which is in the kitchen.

Everything got hooked up and he turn the gas back on & discovered there was a leak so we had to call the propane company for them to fix the leak.  It got quite chilly in here but its now all good.

DH just got done installing the hot water tank...so  far so good.  No leaks & just waiting for it to heat up and hopefully have hot water in a few hours.

I'm so ready for bed!

This post is giving me flashbacks to last summer.
